Mahjong, also spelled mah-jongg, is a tile-based game that originated in China in the 19th century. The goal of the game is to be the first player to remove all tiles from play by matching identical pairs. Players use 136 numbered tiles, similar to dominoes, but engraved with Chinese characters and symbols. The tiles are divided into suits and honors, and each suit has Chinese icons that represent ancient Chinese culture. Parishioners meet on Wednesday’s from 9:30 am- 12:30 pm in the Choir Room. This is a closed group for members of All Saints Church.
