What do we mean when we talk about God? What place does religion have in a life of faith? Who is Jesus to us now? What do we mean by salvation, the cross, the Bible, or the church?
Beginning Sunday, October 4, we’ll gather between the services for Animate: Faith, a seven-week adult formation series exploring some of the great questions at the heart of Christian faith.
Each Sunday begins with a short video featuring a leading Christian voice offering a thoughtful, sometimes provocative perspective on the week’s subject. The video is there to get us thinking and talking. From there, we’ll have time for conversation, questions, reflection, and a beautifully designed participant journal that belongs to you and is yours to keep.
Over our seven sessions, we’ll explore:
God • Religion • Jesus • Salvation • Cross • Bible • Church
You don’t need any particular level of biblical or theological knowledge to participate, and you certainly don’t need to arrive with all the answers. Bring your experience, your curiosity, your questions, and your willingness to listen to one another as we think together about what our faith means and how it continues to shape our lives.
Please CALL OR EMAIL the church office to let us know if you plan to participate. We want to make sure we order enough participant journals for everyone and prepare a space large enough for the group.
